How Can We but Grieve?

As I am preparing a post on the acceptance of death and am interrupted by the news of another shooting. The lives of school children in Connecticut have been cut short. This is only days after the shooting at a mall in Oregon.

There are times when we can only join as one and cry out for comfort and compassion.

For the children.

For the families of the children.

For the survivors of trauma.

For the families and friends of the shooters.

For all of us who can but watch and wonder with trepidation.

For a world that cannot seem to sooth and contain the suffering that must erupt into violence to be shared by all.

My tears are for everyone.
