Quarantine – Day 22

Back to the reports adequate for five-year-olds:

“As of this week, starting 1/24/22, we continue to have positive test results. Therefore, our status remains the same.” Business Office Director*  Updated reply to further questions: “We have had a total of 18 employees & 4 residents test positive. 16 employees & 2 residents have recovered.”

But today I will enjoy the fruits of our/my husband‘s labor. He has been  patient as I direct him where to put the pots, plant the bulbs, attach the trellises. We now have 85 tulips, daffodils and narcissus bulbs in addition to the crocus bulbs we dug from our home.

It will be beautiful. I don’t think he really has a vision of the whole thing yet but I can imagine it as I hope it will be. (I have always had that faculty.)

We are creating a beautiful front yard where we can sit in the spring, summer, and fall. We can distance and have our friends and family visit with us.  I am thankful for a husband that is happy when he makes me happy – no matter what drudgery is involved.
